By IC
As a Content Management System, incorporates the W3C standards that outline the specific languages that can be used in creating templates. Some of these templates incorporate HyperText Markup Language, Extensible Markup Language, or Cascading Style Sheets.

Since is an open source solution, it is available to any developer who can use the templates coding for any purpose that they have a need for. All web pages are written in one of the W3C standard codes, and provides a W3C validity checker on the joomlacrib.com site that will allow developers to check the changes that they made to the newest version of Joomla.

The open source code that is the heartstone of the Content Management System is a work in progress that is managed by a core team of professionals. Throughout the year, there may be several developers that are not on the core team that develop template for their own use and upload valid W3C templates that can be used by anyone.

The databases on the template websites are filled to the brim with W3C valid templates that have interoperability with other pages of web coding on the internet. Since all of the developers are using the same W3C Standards for web page construction, it is relatively easy to make modifications that work well for the system they are developing for their own companies.

The interoperability of a W3C valid template is evidenced by the wide variances of applications that can be created from the basic code that is used by developers in creating Joomla. The applications for could be as simple as a personal homepage where only basic content and photographs will be used.

The template could also be expanded on by developers entering HTML coding in one form or another, to create software that allows government entities to connect.
